A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Shad’s professional journey began in the automotive industry, where his passion and skill earned him eight professional certifications and global recognition as an industry trainer. He served as president of the International Detailing Association, sharing his knowledge and raising the standard of excellence for professionals worldwide.
Known as an industry authority in surface protection and application, Shad has spoken on stages across the globe, inspiring both professionals and entrepreneurs. Beyond his technical mastery, he is a performance coach, dedicated to helping people unlock their full potential and break through self-imposed limitations.

With a Master’s-level academic foundation in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, and Theoretical Studies—along with dual degrees in Psychology from the University of South Carolina— Michael combines scientific rigor with an instinct for creative, real-world solutions.
A native of Athens, Georgia, Michael spent 18 years at the helm of an OEM surface-coating laboratory, pioneering breakthrough applications that set new performance and durability benchmarks and standards across multiple industries. His work has helped shape the science behind products trusted by both professionals and everyday consumers.
A devoted father, perpetual innovator, and entrepreneur, Michael thrives on staying ahead of the curve—exploring the outer edges of technology to imagine, design, and deliver materials that transform how we experience form, function, and the future itself.
